    The Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable is a guild of professional mediators and trainers. Since 1992, the TMTR has promulgated standards for training and promoted training methodologies to ensure the quality of mediation in Texas.

Training Standards

The Texas Mediation Trainers Roundtable (TMTR) began as a guild of professional mediators and trainers whose work through the years has guaranteed the quality of training for mediators by setting quality standards.

Since its inception, the TMTR  has established standards for the 40-Hour Basic Mediation Training and the Family Mediation Training.  In addition, the Roundtable has provided guidance on training methodologies.
